Our team of Connecticut licensed clinical psychologist, state certified school psychologist, clinical speech and language pathologist, occupational therapist, special education teachers and reading specialist work collaboratively to provide a comprehensive and neutral evaluation in order to assist with fostering the collaboration between local school districts and families in supporting students needs. All of our evaluators have extensive experience practicing within the public school setting and all meet the Connecticut Bureau of Special Education requirements to conduct Independent Educational Evaluations.
What is an Independent Educational Evaluation: A comprehensive assessment conducted by a qualified professional(s) who is not employed by the school district. By offering an independent perspective, IEEs aim to ensure that educational decisions—such as the development of an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or the provision of special education services—are made based on comprehensive and accurate information. This can help in identifying the most effective strategies and supports necessary for the child to succeed in their educational environment.
The components of an IEE can vary based on the student's specific needs.
